London Airports - Arrival Information It will take a minimum of 20 to 30 minutes from the time your flight lands for you to exit the airport. If you do not have a European passport it will take between 45 to 60 minutes to clear airport formalities. If however you are only carrying cabin luggage and hold a european passport you could be out in 10 to 15 minutes of landing. If you are a student and will be staying for more than 6 months there are additional medical formalities. If you do not have the necessary documents it could take well in excess of 2 hours to exit the airport.
